Grand Bistro is back – reopening Friday, May 29, 2020!
Boy, we’ve missed that talented team.
It’s been a challenging few months for us all, but especially for those in our hospitality community. While many pivoted to online offerings and deliveries, the team at Grand decided to take a well-deserved break and reinvent themselves. The results are worth the wait – the brand-new look and menu are to-die-for!
Co-owner and operator/chef Damien Monley returns to the kitchen after launching hugely successful London restaurant, LIV Belgravia, and says the close-down period has given him and his business partner Justine a chance to pour new ideas and energy into their iconic Southern Highlands bistro.
“Running a restaurant is by no means an easy job,” he admits with a laugh. “However, it is an industry that we are both very passionate about and we have used the down time to reinvigorate and re-design our menus. Grand Bistro itself has also been given a fresh new look. The menus have been updated to include some exciting new dishes, while retaining some classic favourites.”
Health-conscious customers will be delighted to see a few new additions to the menu that are both delicious and nutritious. there’s a fab new juice selection, which features a refreshing Green Juice made with spinach, cucumber, green apple, mint and coconut water. You’ll also love the tasty Green Bowl, packed full of colour, flavour and texture.
The new evening offerings include Bistro classics such as Steak with Fries and Cafe de Paris butter and Duck Confit, as well as the return of some old favourites including Damo’s famous Crispy Pork Sandwich and the beautiful herb and spice chicken dish that featured at Flat White Cafe in Woollahra.

Don’t forget that Grand Bistro can also provide catering for all your post-Covid gatherings at home with family and friends, with a wide variety of dishes on the catering menu.
Expect to spend? between $20 to $30 per head not including alcohol.
